Flower remedies were first developed in the 1930's, by Dr. Edward Bach. Dr. Bach was a gifted man who was able to connect the dots between personality and health. His keen observation of the effect personality has on health led to a new paradigm in healing. This new paradigm takes into account the effects that thoughts and emotions have on health and disease. Flower remedies empower the individual by enhancing the subtle communication between the soul or higher self has with the personality.

Since the passing of Dr. Bach in 1936 many organizations from around the world have established themselves as leaders in advancing this healing modality. Dr. Bach's legacy is now being carried on by Flower Essence Services, Healing Herbs, Alaskan Flower Essence Project, Australian Bush Essences and Delta Gardens to name a few. Using Bach's original technique as well as developing new methods we now have a global repertory of over 1,000 essences to choose from.

Australian Bush Essences

Ian White who co-creates the Australian Bush Essences is a ND comes from a line of healers and herbalists. The Bush essences are unique and potent, the Australian continent is home to a diverse range flowering plants. The essences in this set address a wide range mental, emotional. physical and spiritual challenges. With solid research and a myriad of applications these essences are a pleasure to work with for addressing everything from dehydration to prosperity consciousness.

Delta Gardens Flower Essences

Delta Gardens is based in New England and directed by David Dalton; an active researcher, teacher and producer of flower essences. The crucible of essences from Delta Gardens is the Medicinal Herb Set. This is a set of 56 remedies made from a the flowers of common medicinal plants. David brings an authentic voice and vision to the use of flower essences and their potnetial to heal.

The Flower Essence Society (FES),

FES is based in Northern California and ha been focused on the research and development of North American flower essences for the past 25 years. Their well respected reputation and research makes them leaders in the field of flower essence thearapy both nationally and internationally.

Healing Herbs Ltd (Bach Flower Remedies)

Directed by Julian Barnard Healing Herbs is focused on producing flower remedies in the Bach traditition. His focus is on the authentic creation and exploration of Bach remedies. Many people feel his remedies are more potent than the mass market brand of Nelson Bach remedies. He is also a teacher and writer whose books explore the remedies with precision and depth.

Woodland Essences

These essences are produced in the pristine Adirondack Mountains of New York State by Kate Gilday. Kate has been working with the woodland flowers and plants for over twenty years. She brings her expertise as an herbalist to her creation of potent yet gentle essences. They carry the sweet vibration of the gentle woodlands that assist us in healing our reconnection to nature.

BIO

I first learned about flower essences in 1996 when introduced to the Bach remedies by a representative from the Nelson Bach Company. As per her request, I completed a questionnaire for the Bach remedies; and she them prepared a combination of essences for me. Immediately after taking just 4 drops, I felt a distinct shift in my awareness and knew there was something special about flower essences. Ever since that day 12 years ago I have been fascinated by the potent, gentle and recognizable healing qualities of flower essences.

In 2000 I moved to Hawaii to get more in touch with the healing qualities of nature. While there I learned a great deal about healing and plants by simply observing them and meditating with them. This deepened my connection with nature carried over as I came back to the mainland in 2002.

Since that time I have been researching and making flower essences as well as studying intensely with a variety of teachers. In 2003 and 2006 I attended the Delta Gardens/ Woodland Essence practioner training course. In 2007 I had the privilege of studying the Bach system with Julia Murray. Julia is a lineage teacher, who was taught the Bach remedies from her mother Nikki. Nikki Murray was a student of Dr. Bach's nurse, Nora Weeks

My love for the healing tools of flower essences deepens each day as I continue to research and explore the world of vibrational healing.

How to use flower essences?

When you buy flower essences you are buying an essence at what is known as the 'stock' level. The stock level is a dilution of the original mother essence, the mother essence, which is the water of the original essence preperation.

Flower essences can be used directly from the bottles or diluted down to create a dosage bottle. A dosage bottle contains a neutral solution of water and brandy to which 2 drops of each essence is added. A dosage bottle can contain up to 7 essences. Combining a number of essences into one dosage bottle can make using flower essences rather convenient. A typical dosage bottle will last anywhere from 2-4 weeks depending on frequency of use and number of drops used.

Flower essences are best used 3-4 times a day, taking 3-4 drops of the essence at a time. Two ideal times are first thing in the morning and before bed. When taking flower essences it is important to not touch the dropper to the tongue, mouth or hands. This is because bacteria or dirt will lessen the potency of the remedy.

All orders will be shipped within 3 business days from the time the order is received. If there is a problem with your order we will contact you and attempt to rectify the problem before shipping orders.

Refunds will be given to "mistake" orders minus a 5% Paypal transaction fee. No refunds will be given on orders already be shipped out only store credit. A new shipping charge will be added to customers paying with store credit.
